Easy-to-replace Aqueon filter cartridges provide optimal mechanical and chemical aquarium filtration and include 25% more activated carbon then their competitors.
Aqueon Power Filters features four stages of filtration - mechanical, chemical, biological, and wet/dry - for the cleanest, clearest, healthiest water. The filter?s pump is safely submerged in the water to provide leak-proof, silent operation. The auto-start pump requires no priming (pouring water into unit before powering) to eliminate messy spills even if the power goes out. This unit has a flow rate of 200 GPH and is suitable for aquariums up to 30 Gallons in size.
