Cypriflex pond hose is used to allow water to pass between the pump and the filter UVC units. The big benefit you get from using this kind of ribbed hose compared to conventional transparent hose is that it does not kink and so when bent you still get the full diameter of the pipe for the water to flow through. This means your pump's flow is not reduced through restrictions.
Cyriplex is also black and opaque so algae does not grow inside the pipe as easily as in transparent piping.
Water passes between the pump, UVC and filter before flowing back into the pond. Zinc plated hose clips can be used to hold the hose in place. Ribbed externally for flexibility but with a smooth bore, this non-kink, UV resistant hose optimizes flow rates from pumps.
Cypriflex hose is also ideal for types of waterfall installation, the hose is made from high quality plastics, it is flexible with every size of hose most capable of a bend without kinking or splitting.
